Buckeye Roadhouse

Bungalow 44
Located in the heart of downtown Mill Valley, CA and just a short 20-minute drive from San Francisco, Bungalow 44 has been the best neighborhood hotspot since opening its doors in 2005. Bungalow 44 strives to be your just-up-the-street, just-around-the-corner, come-as-you-are, and make-yourself-comfortable, local Mill Valley joint.
Dipsea Stairs
First run in 1905, the Dipsea is the oldest trail race in America. It is run every year on the second Sunday in June. The scenic 7.4 mile course from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful courses in the world. The stairs and steep trails make it a grueling and treacherous race.
Equator Cafe
Equator Coffee had previously been a cafe of some sort since the mid-80s, serving as a community hub for locals and tourists. They continue this tradition proudly by offering a robust food menu, including their fan-fav waffles, and yes, they're gluten-free.
Flour Craft Bakery
Flour Craft opened its first retail location in San Anselmo in 2013. They quickly became the area's finest gluten-free bakery, satisfying those with dietary restrictions and surprising those without. With a second Marin location at the MiIl Valley Lumber Yard, which opened in 2018, Flour Craft creates its seasonal menu from local ingredients in a dedicated gluten-free facility. Providing fresh bread, a large assortment of baked goods, and plant-forward brunch & lunch options, their cafes are a welcome addition to the Marin County community.
Good Earth Natural Foods
Good Earth is an independent natural and organic grocer with two stores in Marin County, California. They've proudly served the Marin community since 1969. They were founded with the dream of offering the highest quality organic food they could find. From their early days on 123 Bolinas Road to today, they've remained committed to advocating for a healthier and more sustainable food system.
Hook Fish Co.
Hook Fish Co. was created with the intention in mind to make a positive change in the seafood we buy and consume and as a way to provide the community with a transparent, thoughtful source of fish and prepared seafood that empowers local CA fishermen.
Mill Valley Public Library
The Library is nestled among the redwoods in an award-winning building and reflects the diverse intellectual and recreational interests of the community. Built in 1966, the 27,000 sq. ft. building contains hand-crafted walnut furniture by Art and Tripp Carpenter and many original works of fine art including oil-on-canvas works by Ray Strong and Ludmilla Welch.
Mountain Theater
Built-in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Mountain Theatre is a 3,750-seat classic stone amphitheater that continues to host special events throughout the year.
Mount Tamalpais
Just north of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, Mount Tamalpais State Park rises majestically from the heart of Marin County. Its deep canyons and sweeping hillsides are cloaked with cool redwood forests, oak woodlands, open grasslands, and sturdy chaparral.
Piatti

Piazza D'Angelo
In 1980, brothers Domenico and Paolo Petrone moved to Marin County, from the Calabria region in southern Italy, with dreams of opening their own trattoria. That dream came true a year later when they opened Piazza D'Angelo in the heart of Mill Valley. Since then, their trattoria has become a familiar home away from home for so many Mill Valley residents. Today, the family tradition continues as Domenico's daughter, Felicia, and Paolo's son, Luigi, carry on to serve the community of Mill Valley.
Pizza Antica
Pizza Antica's journey began over 17 years ago with the opening of the first location in Santana Row. They aimed to evoke the feeling of eating in a classic Roman pizzeria while cooking with pristine local ingredients from small family farmers.
Playa
PLAYA, a contemporary indoor-outdoor restaurant destination with a united passion for Mexican food and culture, is located in the heart of Mill Valley, California, and has been in the works for more than two years. Its farm-to-table cuisine features a sophisticated fusion of ingredients and cooking methods, creating a presentation highlighting the variety of Mexican culinary inventiveness.
Proof Lab
Proof Lab's mission is to make the best local surf/skate/outdoor shop, centered on building a community and bringing individuals to the outdoors.
Sweetwater Music Hall
The original Sweetwater opened in 1972 in a rustic, downtown Mill Valley storefront. In the '80s, the Times of London hailed the Sweetwater as one of the best nightclubs in America. In September 2007, sadly, the original Sweetwater closed its doors. Five years later, we reopened as the Sweetwater Music Hall a couple of blocks away on Corte Madera Ave. This reincarnation holds true to the heart of the old days and aims to feed the soul with music, community, and excellent food. The journey is just beginning at the new Sweetwater Music Hall, and we hope to continue feeding the soul of the Bay Area & beyond for years & years to come.
Tamalpie
Home of the 48-hour rise pizza. Their full menu and bar celebrate seasonal, organic, and local ingredients. Tamalpie's signature dough is made from GMO-free flour imported from Italy. Need a drink? Make sure to try their craft cocktails to go! Serves two; just shake and add ice. Whether it's a stiff manhattan, something light & refreshing, or a tequila shot — they have you covered.
Tennessee Valley
Tennessee Valley meanders for approximately two miles through serene, rolling hills down to the Pacific Ocean. The 1.8-mile, well-groomed trail to Tennessee Cove begins at the trailhead parking lot, about a mile down Tennessee Valley Road.
The Junction
Located in Tam Junction, their Taproom was born out of a passion for brewing and a dream of a chill spot to go when after playing in the mountains. You may find fresh and intriguing brews daily thanks to their 30 rotating taps, most of which are from local brewers.
Watershed
Located in the historic Mill Valley Lumber Yard, Watershed is a purveyor of contemporary California cuisine from Chef Kyle Swain. Built over the creek in what is the original sawmill of Mill Valley. Our cuisine is directed by what is available from our local farmers, ranches, and fisheries. Come enjoy the rustic flavors and great beverages in our inviting shed built over the creek with stunning views of Mt Tam.
