Join the SLP Improvement Program the second Saturday, of the month to help maintain and improve our steps, lanes and paths.
All skills are welcome! Wear your jeans, bring your gloves, rakes and pruning shears.
The Friends participate in maintenance projects on the mornings of the second Saturday of every month. These projects are fun and allow participants the chance to meet other “SLP Ramblers” while doing weeding, pruning, stair repairs or whatever is needed to keep our unique pedestrian routes safe and tidy.
The Friends works in coordination with the City of Mill Valley to ensure that Mill Valley’s Steps, Lanes and Paths Rights of Way are not encroached upon. We also work with the City, Safe Routes to Schools and other groups to help determine priorities for new staircases, path improvements and various major maintenance requirements.
We are 100% volunteer run and open to members of all ages!
